Maggie island is a rocky coastal island just off shore of Townsville; we are a suburb!
We are a community, a group of villages with a collection of beaches and bays and fringing reefs.
We are a gateway to the Great Barrier Reef.

We have a large, easily viewed population of wild koalas, commonly viewed by visitors while bushwalking.
