Magnetic Island has most of the services you would expect in a small suburb or seaside town - supermarkets, gift-shops, clothing botiques, petrol stations, a post office, doctor's surgery and emergency clinic, a pharmacy and so on. (What you won't find is traffic jams, fast-food franchises or light pollution when you want to see the stars at night!)
