The Culture of Magnetic Island - Past and Present
Magnetic Island Tourism acknowledges the ongoing traditional ownership of the island by the Wulgurukaba, "Canoe People" who call this island Yunbenun.
There is plenty to see and do on the island to get a taste of our multi-faceted cultural heritage. Below are some items to start with.
Also, be sure to check the WhatsOnMagneticIsland calendar of events --- or just ask a local, "what's on?"
